PUMPKIN, SPICED CIDER, & HOLIDAYS!!
Now that it is October, all of us at the bakery are in the cool, crisp fall mood. We are very excited to have the leaves change, and move into the holiday season, our favorite time of year! In Vegan Sweet Tooth tradition, October kicks off with PUMPKIN everything! We are buying fresh pumpkins and roasting them until our hearts content, and baking all kinds of pumkin desserts. We are also embracing the crisp apples that are in season right now too! Whether we are drinking the cider, or baking them in pies, we are excited to have them at the bakery. Now that we are officially in the Fall season, it is time to also start talking about the upcoming holiday menu too!
We are going to be offering many, and we mean MANY different pumpkin options!
Cupcakes/ Cake: Chocolate and Vanilla cake, filled with our oven roasted pumpkin cream cheese frosting.
Cheesecake: Shortbread crust topped with vanilla cheese cake baked with spiced pumpkin swirled all through out.
Scones: Pumpkin scones littered with chocolate chips. ( Soy Free & Gluten Free available)
Pie: Standard, and Mini pies baked with a traditional pie crust filled with our spiced pumpkin pie filling. (Gluten Free available)
Bars: Our famous pumpkin bars are back! Shortbread crust topped with baked spiced pumpking pie filling.
We are taking the apple, and utilizing every aspect of it that we can.
Caramel Apple: Vanilla cake filled with ooey gooey caramel apple filling topped with vanilla bean frosting.
Pie: Both Spiced Apple, and Caramel Apple pies will be available for ordering. Traditional pie crust filled with caramel or spiced apple filling. (Gluten Free Available)
Apple Cider: We are noow offering warm apple cider by the glass. Cinnamon and clove seasoned cider will keep you warm on those chilly fall days. If you really need a pick me up, add a shot of Apple Brandy!
It is that time of year that we need to start thinking about the holidays, and the desserts that you are going to need. We have uploaded our Holiday Menu on our website, and we will be offering these desserts through out the season. As usual, we carry these desserts in the bakery on a daily basis, but we always suggest ordering in advance.
